Baharya: (B,D) |
| After breakfast you
will checkout your hotel in Cairo then drive to the Baharya oasis. Situated in a
depression covering some 2000 sq km Baharya is divided between 4 villages, the
largest of which is Bawiti. Famous for its dates, wine and hot springs it is a
peaceful and picturesque setting amid the harsh, baron landscape of the desert.
Here you stay at the Safari Camp in rooms with a fan and en-suite bathroom.

| Day 5 White Desert,

| After breakfast you
will take a tour in the White Desert using 4X4 jeeps. The White Desert appears
similar to the moon surface, with white mica and white rocks, shaped into
curious toadstool, castles, and pillar like formations. On the way you stop to
visit huge golden sand dunes and the dazzling Crystal Mountain, a rocky outcrop
consisting of quartz crystals that lie strewn across the sand. At the foot of
the hill a natural rock arch stands defying gravity. From here you head to your
camp in the White Desert and along the way collect wood for the campfire. your
guide will prepare the meal and then you can relax and appreciate the eerie
silence and starry night sky that can only be found in these vast uninhabited

| Day 6 White Desert,

| After breakfast in the
White Desert you will return to back to Baharya oasis, stopping on your way at
the Black Desert to see the "flowers of the desert". These spiky chunks of black
rock are formed by the rapid crystallization of volcanic eruptions under the
sea, and are scattered all across the barren landscape. Overnight at your camp,

| Day 7 Baharya,

| After breakfast you
will take a tour to Baharya city. This will include a visit to the hot and cold
springs, where we can bath in the naturally warm, mineral rich waters which well
up from deep underground. You will also see the English House, which is the
ruined remains of a WW1 fort perched atop a nearby hill, and The Black Mountain.
In the evening you will have the chance to take a moonlit dip in one of the
nearby hot springs. Overnight at your camp, Baharya Oases. |

Checkout of the camp,
drive back to Cairo, arrive in Cairo at around noon. check in your hotel in
Cairo and have the rest of the day free in Cairo for last minute shopping or
sightseeing.
